There are trials for the school football team at the beginning of each school year. The team is run by Mr O Handy. If students are successful in being selected for the team they will keep that position throughout their time at Northleigh. Practice is run after school each week for an hour and 15 minutes. If your child decides they no longer want to play in the school team you must inform Mr Handy as soon as possible.

 As well as practice each week Mr Handy organises home and away matches with other local schools, as well as competing in any tournaments held at Dyson Perrins, in which Northleigh is always very successful.
